Alexis

Alexis has been dancing since she was 2 years old. At age 6 she began competing in dance, and by age 7 she did her first solo. Alexis competed in dance competitions for 6 years before taking a break from competitions to focus on competitive swim. She still kept her dance training up by taking a variety of classes at Barbra Anns School of Dance in Lexington, Kentucky. Freshman year she made her schools varsity dance team. Alexis moved to Dripping Springs, Texas her sophomore year and joined the Hi-Steppers Drill Team. In her first year as a Hi-Stepper, she was named Hi-Stepper of the week twice, named Rockstar of the week, awarded 'Miss Congeniality," by her team, and received the "Best Smile" Award.  Alexis began dancing at Body Lab in 2023. She has trained in many forms of dance including ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, modern, tap, hip hop, and musical theater. She has also attended college dance in various states to learn more about the different programs. Alexis is the oldest of 4 siblings, loves the beach, and loves working with young dancers.
