Izzy

Izzy has been dancing since she was 2 years old. At age 11 she began competing in dance and the following year she decided to focus solely on dance, despite being a talented musician. At age 13, she competed in her first solo and duet competitions and has fallen in love with performing in the style of contemporary/lyrical.  Izzy enjoys traveling to conventions and learning different styles from choreographers that are showcased. She was invited to dance at Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2022. She has been part of the Bee Cave Middle School Raider Royalty dance team since 2022 and became co-captain in 2023. That same year, she joined the Body Lab Performance Academy and has been dancing at competitions and in their amazing Christmas Show for the community. Izzy continues to train in many styles of dancing including ballet, contemporary, lyrical, jazz, hip hop, acro and drill team. Izzy enjoys time with her family and Aussie/Great Pyrnees rescue Leah, and learning ways to improve dance technique. In the future, Izzy would like to dance on a college dance team.
