About the Instructors:
Trevor Parmentier: Trevor Parmentier is a southern California native. While living in California, Trevor worked with several dance organizations and companies individually, including Culture Shock Dance Company, Velocity Dance Troupe, and Surreal Crew, blessing him with the opportunity to teach and perform up and down the California coast. Now living in Austin Texas, Trevor shares his passion for life and dance by teaching all around the United States. He is currently on staff with Dupree Dance and Dance Revolution touring the country. He has danced and choreographed for local Hip Hop & RNB artists and with crews around Texas, including ILLovation crew who placed 1st overall at the World of Dance competition in 2010. He has taught in over 20 states around America and continues to expand. Recently, Trevor starred as lead actor and dancer in Fryar’s new music video “CoolLike Me”. Whether it is teaching at conventions, or teaching a small class for kids after school, Trevor always has the same goal in mind, and that is to spread a positive light and influence in the dance industry where it is typically hard to find. His goal is to not only teach students how to move but to love dance and to let it be a part of who they are.
Angelina Barba: Angelina Barba was born in Los Angeles, California and began her training in hip hop at the age of 8. She then soon moved to Austin, Texas to continue her training at local dance studios. She competed with 2 Hype Hip Hop Company for 5 years, under the direction of Leslie Garcia. Angelina joined the Rouse Royals drill team in high school and served as a line officer her senior year. Along with her senior year of high school, she competed with eSTREET Hip Hop Company, under the direction of Justin Streeter. Angelina has received Grand National titles and many awards and scholarships throughout her competitive dance team years. She has continued her training at an industry level, along with receiving prestigious assistant and performance opportunities by her mentors and other artists. Angelina’s found love for teaching has given her many opportunities as she now teaches at local studios and schools in the Austin area regularly. She has also held director positions of preprofessional hip hop companies such as eSTREET Hip Hop Company at Evolution Dance Center and REALM Hip Hop Company at The Dance Academy. Angelina wishes to continue her training and growth as both a student and a teacher. She is excited to continue to create choreography, teach and share her passion for dance!
Maddie Dalgleish: Maddie began her dance journey at the age of 4 at Round Rock Repertory Dance Centre where she would go on to be a member of the pre-professional company for 7 years. Maddie trained in summer programs at Ballet Austin with Jamie Lynn Witts, Ian Bethany, and Bill Piner, and trained for 3 years in the Ad Deum Dance Company summer program in Houston, TX where she studied under Randall Flynn, Shizu Yasuda, Vincent Hardy, Durrell Comedy, and Steve Rooks.
