Danica has been dancing ever since she was 3 years old. In second grade, she joined Premiere Dance Center as an official member of their dance company. She competed and trained in jazz, contemporary, ballet, hip hop, musical theater, tap and various other styles. She loves contemporary and jazz, especially when she gets to choreograph. In 7th grade Danica made her middle school dance team, SSMS Tiger Belles, who brought home many grand champions banner and trophies, and was an officer the following year. She trained multiple times at Body Lab in focus of drill team, but she was not confident if this was the path for her. After a clean sweep her 8th grade year, she decided to focus on her technique and training at Premiere Dance Center for her freshman year. She then decided to try her high school drill team out, DSHS Hi Steppers. She made the team and decided to pursue drill team, leaving her old studio to officially start attending Body Lab. Since then, she is now a 2nd Lieutenant on her High School Drill Team, served as Dance Captain of her school's production of Mamma Mia, and is a current Intern at Body Lab. Body Lab has gifted Danica many opportunities to display her leadership and dance skills, and she is so grateful that she can spread her knowledge to young dancers.
