Madilyn Mudd is a dancer and choreographer based out of the Austin area. Previously a student of Heather O’Hara, Madilyn has trained in the competitive dance and drill team community for several years. While training in ballet, jazz, contemporary, silks, hip hop and more, madilyn developed her choreography from her love of contemporary and music. At Lake Travis High School, Madilyn was a Junior and Senior Lieutenant for the Lake Travis Cavalettes, while also attending numerous competitions and conventions with Body Lab. Madilyn was a Body Lab Performance Academy Captain, intern, and staff member. She also was a member of the non-profit organization, The Dance Project. Over the course of her high school career, Madilyn continued her training at institutions all over the country, such as the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre NYC and The Edge Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles. While working with Sam Houston Dance faculty Andrew Noble, she was selected to perform at the American College Dance Association National Conference at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center in Long Beach, California. Madilyn has had the opportunity to work closely with several choreographers such as Heather O’Hara, Cheryl Copeland, Jake McCauly, Lenny Arnold, Sam Nelson, Andrew and Dionne Noble, Travis Lake, Evelyn Toh, and more. Currently, Madilyn is a student at Sam Houston State University earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Dance.
